I am far from the typical classical musician who started learning piano as a kid.

Since early childhood, I have been interested in music but only decided to start learning piano at 18.

I noticed that there are rarely any adult learners aiming to become a professional musicians. Despite the statistics, I poured all my energy and passion into this near-impossible goal.

I studied piano, music theory, and music composition with the composer of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador. With him, I learned the foundations of music and devoted myself to improving and learning as fast as possible to catch up with the “normal” piano students. In a matter of months, I was able to play some intermediate - difficulty - level pieces, such as a Prelude and Fugue by JS Bach. Then, just a year and a half, I performed my first solo piano recital and started professional activities as a teacher and pianist.

I have played in most of my country's leading concert halls and attended masterclasses with renowned musicians besides pianibesideso have been playing piano since childhood. If I could, you can too!

Now, I want to share my experience with other music students who may not fit into a typical pianist’s mold.

If you're an adult learner looking to accelerate your learning process and build up the confidence to reach your piano goals, I would love to share all the knowledge I have accumulated in more than seven years of playing as an adult.

I became a music teacher by accident while on vacation. A lovely couple who owned a hotel were looking to get their son some piano lessons, but since they live in a remote city, they couldn't find a piano teacher.

A friend of mine who lived nearby referred me to them. That was when I gave my first piano lesson, which changed my life!

The ability to impact the life of a child who wanted to learn what was considered "rocket science" behind music inspired me to give all my knowledge and share my passion for music with him. Now, some years later. I am still teaching music!

My teaching style has a non-hierarchical approach. I want to sit and discuss my student’s questions and help them reach their goals. I like to talk with them, share my passion for music, guide them to find solutions to their problems, and help them learn to listen to themselves play.

I love classical repertoire for teaching!

I firmly believe that the piano repertoire alone has all the resources needed to learn how to play the instrument. Therefore, I only use piano methods when necessary. My goal is to help my students build up an artistically interesting repertoire as they learn and go further with the art of piano playing. I also like to use literature on piano playing and music study methods to boost and stretch my students' learning capabilities.

“Besides playing and teaching piano, I am a simple person who enjoys being in nature, reading, and biking. I believe that peace is the greatest quality that our soul can aim for, and I find it in the simple things.”
